Twelve years ago, I was a burnt-out, stressed, and frustrated personal trainer, working 60–70 hours a week, running a large PT and bootcamp business, and doing everything “right” when it came to health—training regularly and eating well. Yet, I was exhausted, hormonally out of balance, and felt like something was missing.
When my father passed away from cancer, the stress I was already carrying became unbearable. Grieving from a distance, far from my family in Sweden, took a toll on me. That was the turning point—I didn’t just need a change; I had to make one.
